As we prepare for the 2025 Tucson Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, we reflect on the successes of the past years. We are excited to introduce some thoughtful changes and new opportunities for engagement to include a new & safer commemorative march route along the perimeter of Reid Park.

The MLK Celebration is a vibrant, inclusive event that brings together people of all ethnicities, generations, and abilities to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It is a meaningful reflection of the rich diversity within our community, fostering unity, understanding, and a shared commitment to justice and equity.
We are honored to mirror The King Center’s 2025 Holiday theme: “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence365”.

How can you contribute?
We are thrilled to invite your business or organization to participate on Monday, January 20, 2025, in two meaningful ways:
1. Vendor/Informational Booth: Your business or organization may host a Food, Retail, or Information Booth at the MLK Festival. The Festival will be from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (set up begins at 7:30 AM and must conclude by 8:30 AM). Use this LINK to Register as a Vendor by January 13, 2025
– Food & Retail Vendor Fee: $100.00
– Informational Booth: $75.00
2. Donor: Your generous contribution will help us cover essential expenses such as sound equipment, permits, and ensure public safety through off-duty law enforcement. While the City of Tucson graciously provides some in-kind support, the majority of the costs are made possible by community partners like you.
“DREAM BUILDER” Donate $1000.00 or higher: For your donation, your organization’s name will be proudly displayed on the Supporters Banner at the Reid Park Bandshell stage, included on all event flyers, listed on our Facebook page, and featured with a complimentary information table at the park. Please include a copy of your logo with your donation.
“CHANGE MAKER” Donate $500.00: For this contribution, your organization will be listed in the MLK program on Friday evening and mentioned live during the Celebration Festival.
“FREEDOM FRIEND” Donate ANY Dollar Amount: Your organization will be on our social media patrons list.
Your support will play an integral role in ensuring the success of this year’s celebration. Together, we can create an event that honors Dr. King’s legacy and strengthens our community’s bonds.
